We were lucky enough to escape the city this weekend and travel east to the clean air and easy going lifestyle of the Hamptons. Contrary to popular belief, sunny weekends spent out east are fairly low key. Sure, you can have a night out on the town, but even dressing for an evening like that involves airy tops and wedges at the very most.
When I come out, my agenda is clear: sun, sand, and summer water. By summer water, I of course mean rosé. There’s something about the crisp freshness, the young grapes, and that adorable pink color that makes drinking rosé a summer staple.
Last night, we grabbed our blankets and took to one of my favorite local vineyards, Wölffer Estate. It was an evening of live music, wine, and cheese in the lawn. This vintner is known for their Summer in a Bottle, the famous rosé with in a beautiful floral bottle, but I prefer their classic rosé table wine. I wanted to look cute for the event, but still appropriate for sitting on a blanket with family and friends.
I chose this blue and white Zara top with my favorite white jeans (similar here) and my striped flat espadrilles. They’re from Soludos, and there are so many varied options on their site that you could wear a different pair every day this summer and never repeat!
Aside from this event the weekend calls for sitting by the pool and grilling out with my crew. I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing weekend wherever you may be. And if you get a case of the Sunday scaries, pop open some summer water, sip, and repeat.
