I really cannot get enough of the bomber. I know I mentioned this already two weeks ago, but I think it bears repeating because this is a trend that isn’t going anywhere. Consequently, it seems this “in limbo” NYC weather isn’t going anywhere either, which makes the bomber the perfect choice for all your springtime transitional needs.
I wanted to share with you all my #ootd- that annoying fashion hashtag acronym which stands for outfit of the day. It incorporates all of my favorites to create a look that’s casual but cute and comfortable enough for me to work in on set. My favorite jeans- the J Brand Maria High-rise is my ultimate go-to jean and I have it in several different washes. It’s super slimming and holds me together in all the right places. It also looks great with a variety of tops including cropped or shorter tops, or this, my favorite tank (similar here). I love it because it looks lived in and is super soft. Its a nice boxy counter to my skinny jeans which creates nice proportions. These loafers are very special with their “mixed media” of leather and felt. Every gal out there should invest in a great pair of loafers ASAP. They are going to be with us well into next fall in a variety of heel heights and materials, and they’re pretty darn comfortable.
And finally, the pièce de résistance of the look that takes it from basic to the bomb: the lace bomber. This guy holds a special place in my heart because it can be dressed down like I’ve done here, or dressed up for an evening look. I love the idea of wearing this with a black crop top underneath, and a high waisted black denim and heels. Très chic!
so cute ! don’t think I’ve ever seen that bomber is it new? x >
